Minecraft is one of the biggest and most famous Indie games of all time. It has a unique, survival/creative gameplay which appeals to many people. Over time, the game has evolved from a little building block game to a full game of survival and adventure. The Last couple of updates: 1.8, 1.9, and 1.0 have introduced many new concepts into the game as well, making the game even more complex. Naturally, Minecraft is a game that has been reviewed by many due to its fame. Here’s my personal opinion.

1. Gameplay
Minecraft is the type of game whose gameplay is slightly based off of other games. Although not based directly on other games, Minecraft has taken concepts from other games, such as infiniminer. Minecraft has two main “types of gameplay”. They are creative and survival. Creative mode is a free mode where you can fly around an open world and create whatever you want with an unlimited arsenal of every (accessible) block in the game. You have unlimited HP, and you never lose Hunger. It is basically a “Free For All” Mode. Next is Survival. Survival is a unique game mode where you must gather resources in order to survive a brutal world for as long as possible. You must build your house, survive hordes of monsters, and craft items to help you. Alongside crafting is smelting, enchanting, and potion brewing. Besides building a shelter with basic necessities, you also need to have a source of food. You can farm food or breed animals. Next, there are many randomly generated structures in Minecraft. There are many biomes (forest, ocean, swamp, etc.) which tie into the unique survival gameplay. Besides Biomes, there are structures such as Villages, Dungeons, and Strongholds which make exploring fun. The game’s gameplay is really unmatched by any other game before its time, making it a groundbreaking indie game. (9/10)

2. Graphics
The graphics for Minecraft are nice. They aren’t “Call of Duty” graphics, but they are still very appealing. Everything in minecraft is made of blocks, covered in pixelated textures. There’s really not much to say about them. (8/10)

3. Features
Minecraft is a feature-packed game. Besides Creative and Survival, Minecraft has multiplayer as well. There is also Hardcore mode, where death means instant deletion of your world. Minecraft’s biggest feature is its moddable core. The game is very “mod-friendly”. There are millions of community made mods which add to the gameplay in many great ways. (9.5/10)

4. Overall
Minecraft, overall, is a fun, community game where the possibilities are endless. The game never loses it’s appeal, and it will always be fun. In the end, I would give the game a 9/10.

We all know about Black Friday in the US and the major deals. But, one thing appealed to me most, the amazing deals on Nintendo systems. These systems include Nintendo Wii, Nintendo 3DS, and Nintendo DSi.

The 3DS, known as the only 3D software out there, had its price drop recently from $350 to $170. How could anyone imagine a cheaper one? Well guess what, there is a new price. The new price for a Nintendo 3DS is an insane $140! I’d suggest anyone with the money to purchase this, as it won’t get much better than this.

The Nintendo DSi, known as the DS with internet, had an insane price drop. It is now very affordable and is a great christmas present. The DSi’s price has dropped to $100, making it the perfect gift.

The Nintendo Wii, known as the first motion sensor console, is also an AMAZING buy. Maybe even better than the 3DS deal. You will now get a Black Wii with Wii Remote/ Nunchuck + Wii Motion Plus and New Super Mario Bros for only $130. So, if you ever wanted a wii, now is definitely the time to buy it.

Zelda: Twighlight Princess Game Review

Introduction

Zelda Twilight Princess is a very fun game with many moments where you just can’t pass without a walkthrough. This game is a difficult and adventurous game to save Princess Zelda from the evil. It is a puzzling game with Link, Midna, and Zelda as the main characters. Explore the Zelda world with Link in Wolf and Human form.

Gameplay

The Zelda story mode is a puzzling action packed adventure to save Zelda and people from the darkness. Along the way, you will find Midna to assist you in your journey. You can be Link in wolf or Human form, giving you different views of the game. You will also have many other missions during the game. The bosses consist of : Ook, Diababa, Guardian, Fyrus, Deku Toad, Morpheel, Skullkid, Death Sword, Stallord, Dark Hammer, Blizzetta, Armoghma, Agorok, Zant and Ganondorf. This gives you non stop action.

Graphics

The graphics for this game are alright and make the game very playable. It is not graphics where you can not understand anything the game has to portray.

Recommendations

I would recommend this game to ANYONE who has a wii. Mostly because of the action and the fun but also because this game is a Nintendo Selects game. What does this mean? It means that it is only $20!
